we also have a vet fund you can give to.This fund help's us to get all parrot's that come's to the rescue to the vet.This way we no they are Healthy and happy.With this done a parrot from us you no is Healthy.Give what you can to this Fund please help us help them.

Drivers:

This involves picking up animals from Ottawa and not to far from. Also you may be asked to pick up donations of pet foods and supplies. Sometimes we have as much as a day's notice, sometimes we need a driver immediately. Foster Care: A foster home must be able to provide a safe, warm place isolated from other pets. The birds need lots of human contact to help develop confidence and social skills. Supplies such as food, litter and bedding is generally provided by the foster home. You must spend time at the sanctuary as a volunteer to qualify as a foster home. Toy making You can make toy's for us For the parrot's we may have in the rescue.

Here are some things rescue find they alwas in need of.

Caging rescues never seemed to have enough caging, we can use screws and nails wood as there are cage  we can build we need wiring

food dishes, towels, toys for large birds and small birds, pallits mix seed's, and feeding formula for baby birds that we may get in, there is just so much cash donations to help us buy supplies.  Whether big or small every little bit helps.

If you have a bird you like to come to this rescue.You can also take the bird to the vet for us. But please ask the vet to have the bird tested for the 4 ps they will no what this is.Once this is done and you get the ok the bird is healthy.Then you can come to us with your bird this is an other way people who is giving there bird to us.Can also help us we then will ask for all papper word to please come with the bird.
