At Dabinikeh Parrot's come frist Dabinikeh was set up to help parrot's that our in need of a place to come.
We Rescue any parrot in need due to abuse,Neglect,Or owner surrender's the parrot to us due to life changes.
Finding these birds a "forever" Home that is our main objective whether it is with our flock or an adoptive home.We would also like to say that all parrot's that comes in to the rescue.All parrot's are seen by are Vet this way we no all parrot's are healthy and happy as can be.
Also we like to say if we get your little one.We like you to be part of where this bird will go.Yes we like you to have the last say on your little one.We hope to work with you and new owners On this as this way everyone is happy.What other rescue will let you be part of helping and have the last say on where your love one will go.And with who.
Other rescue's dont let you have the last say.
Most parrots that come to rescues come with "baggage" or "issues." When birds are neglected or passed around it's unavoidable.

We are also not a rescue that will breed pet's or breed rescue parrot's.As good breeders and good rescue they no these bird's dont make good breeder's.So why put them in some thing thats no good for them
We like to put them in good home's With this said we are here to help

Having A Baby
Many younger people get birds in their teens or twenties. When they decide to start a family, they realize the bird doesn't fit into their life anymore, or they feel that they just can't give the bird as much attention as they should. Birds can be dangerous around children, and birds can suffer from the lack of attention caused by a new baby in the family.
The lack of attention can cause all sorts of behavioral problems for the parrot. Many times single people bond with their bird too much, and when the single person marries or moves in with their mate, the bird can become aggressive toward the rival. This is one of the leading causes of parrot displacement.
Behavioral Problems
We find talking to people that this seems to be a big problem.
Most behavioral problems are not permanent. The causes can vary Maybe you spoiled your parrot for a time than stopped spending as much time as you once did. Maybe you got bit, now your scared of your parrot.
Or now you just have to work to much and have no more time for your parrot.So you need to Rehome,Or give the bird up to A Sanctuary or rescue.
To days living can be hard on some people one never nos from one day to the next what may happen.We are here to help you out.
Life changes can put people in the position that they are no longer able to or capable of looking after their parrot(s).
Others become hard to handle, require special attention or don't fit in with the changes taking place in your life. We work at educating parrot owners to assist them in meeting the challenges of owning parrots and rescuing parrots when education is not the key.
We must also say we do look for the best home's we can find.Once The parrot has a new home we still work with the new owner's and the parrot.To see if they are both doing good and happy.
The new owner will have to sing saying they can not sell the parrot.If the new owner's Can not keep the parrot the bird Must come back to Dabinikeh.
And at that time we will no longer look for a new home The parrot will then stay with us.As we dont like them going home to home.For more info please call or email us
